Sunday’s Best No. 1

January 12, 2025

The Sunday’s Best could also be titled A Girl’s Guide to Surviving the Winter Crud. This was a week of cozies, warm bevs, and lots of time on the couch while I tried to recoup.

While I hope you don’t find yourself needing to use these recommendations, bookmark my finds for if the sniffles and sneeze catch up to you, too!

Dr. Dennis Gross Pro Facial Steamer

While I normally reserve this hidden gem when in need of a skin salve, I realized I could experience the benefits of the steam to mitigate symptoms and for a quick boost of hydration!

Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Boyfriend Cardigan

My brother and sister-in-law gifted me this for Christmas, and I lived in it non-stop this week. Polished enough for the office, this 100% Grade-A Mongolian cashmere piece also kept me cozy over a pair of pajamas in bed. I WILL be buying in more colors. I took a TTS, which gives me the prefect boxy, slightly oversized academic look I was going for.

LAKE Hydrangea Cropped Pajamas

When your pajamas are your only sartorial expression for a week plus, you gotta make sure they’re the best.

Slouch Crew Socks

Breathable cotton that is great for exercise or keeping toes warm on a snow day. These socks are a fantastic quality and an unbeatable price point.

Monogrammed Tissue Cover

When Puffs becomes on mainstay on your nightstand, desk, side table, etc., you will be glad you elevated the look a touch.

Tea Forte Chamomile Citron Herbal Tea

I had this tea sachet for the first time at the Old Edwards Inn Spa, and each time I steep it, I am transported right back to feelings of cozy and true luxury.

Flu Fighter Chicken Noodle Soup

I found this recipe online, and while I luckily do not have the flu, this concoction is going to be a batch mainstay during sick spells (and in the freezer, too!). Don’t skimp on the herbs and hot sauce!
